These expeditions require special permits from the Nepalese government and involve extensive planning, logistics, and support from Sherpas and guides.

Expeditions in Nepal are categorized based on difficulty and altitude:

• Trekking Peaks (5,000m – 7,000m) – Less technical, requiring basic mountaineering skills.
• Expedition Peaks (Above 7,000m) – Highly challenging, requiring technical climbing experience.
